Our Youth Members are motivated to achieve and be the best Scouts they can be, you are welcome to join us.
Our 1st Ballan Scout Group is made up of families who are motivated to help their community, while offering unique opportunities for their children to grow and develop into young adults and future leaders within our community. Through interesting programs, our Joeys, Cubs & Scouts are actively engaged within the community and scouting activities through service, adventure, experience and opportunity.

The best bit about scouts was the great leader and kids and trying new things

I like the bike rides that we do. I enjoyed the Fort Night that we did as we could smash our Cubbies at the end. I like the Spy Night and the laser activity our Patrol Leader set up.
SCOUT

I have made heaps of life long friends that I love hanging out with at Scouts and outside Scouts. Scouts has given me heaps of opportunities, and I have done heaps of amazing things …… like flying planes.

I like the flag on the pole. It's a million miles up. I love everything at Joeys and Kangaree.
CUB

I like coming to cubs because we do lots of fun stuff. We get to meet new people and make lots of new friends. We get to do lots of fun and interesting things at Cubs.
SCOUT

I like going to Scouts because I get to socialise with my friends, go on new adventures and challenge myself to earn the badges. My favourite parts are when we do the outdoor activities as well as when we go on camps.
