It's always a fun time when we get together with our friends from Bacchus Marsh Scouts. So, when we were invited to join them to play Wheelchair Basketball, we quickly responded with ... Game On!!!
It was fantastic fun, and we all thoroughly enjoyed learning and playing Wheelchair Basketball. Skill number 1 ... how do we control the wheelchair?
Once mastered, we split into teams, rolled onto the court and the game started. Rolling up and down the court was great fun and as we learnt to pass the ball to each other our skills improved and we were able to shoot baskets at both end of the court.
Wheelchair Basketball was awesome.
