With rain still falling and snow rapidly disappearing, it was decided to try and ski into the Rocky Knobs area in the worsening weather conditions. Skiing up past Cope Hut we became quite exposed at the car park as we were no longer sheltered from the surrounding knolls. While the wind wasn't that bad, it became colder as we became more exposed while moving into the Rocky Knobs area. As we passed by Investiture Point, it was getting harder to move as we were falling deeper into the snow and vegetation, so a decision was made to ski back to Coper Hut for lunch.
After lunch we returned to the Chalet to relax and recover for the remainder of the day.
